What is Concept2 RowErg?

The Concept2 RowErg is the most widely used indoor rowing machine in the world. It uses an air-resistance flywheel that provides variable resistance — the harder you pull, the more resistance you encounter. The machine features the PM5 performance monitor, which tracks split time, distance, stroke rate, watts, calories, and more. Concept2 machines are used as the official testing equipment for national rowing teams, university programs, CrossFit competitions, and HYROX events. The current RowErg model replaced the Model D designation in 2021, though the machines are functionally identical. Key specifications include a 2,450mm footprint, 14-inch seat height, and ability to separate into two pieces for storage.
