ErgData App: ErgData is Concept2's official mobile app that connects to the PM5 via Bluetooth to display real-time workout data and sync results to the Concept2 Logbook.

What is ErgData App?

ErgData is Concept2's free companion app available on iOS and Android. It connects to the PM5 Performance Monitor via Bluetooth Low Energy and provides additional display options, real-time force curves, interval tracking, and automatic syncing to the Concept2 Online Logbook. ErgData shows more detailed data than the PM5 screen alone, including stroke-by-stroke force curves, drive length, and detailed interval summaries. After each workout, ErgData can automatically upload results to your Concept2 Logbook account. The app also supports racing against previous performances and setting up custom workouts. While ErgData is useful for data transfer and force curve analysis, it provides limited analytics and no effort scoring beyond raw data display.

Watta provides what ErgData lacks: an intelligent Effort Score, heart-rate-integrated analysis, and training trend insights. Many users run ErgData for force curve display and Concept2 Logbook syncing while using Watta for workout logging and effort tracking.

Does ErgData work with all Concept2 machines?
ErgData works with any Concept2 machine equipped with a PM5 monitor (RowErg, BikeErg, SkiErg). It does not work with older PM3 or PM4 monitors, which lack Bluetooth.

Yes. ErgData is free to download and use. It is developed and maintained by Concept2 as a companion to their ergometers.
